The monobloc chair: A product that most clearly embodies the complexity of the consumer society. It is the most widely used piece of furniture in the world. MIC is an easily stackable single-shell outdoor chair. The sides and the back are designed to show parts of the bottom-side of the seats, which leads to a sensuous shape. To achieve an independent design it was decided to reinterpret the typology of the original monobloc. Credit: F.Neubacher
